# How can I fix issues connecting my LinkedIn account to a campaign?

# Fixing LinkedIn connection issues with a campaign

If a campaign is running but no actions are being taken, check the following:

## 1. Confirm the LinkedIn account connection

LinkedIn connections can disconnect after a free trial. Reconnect the account from Botdog’s LinkedIn connection screen. For cookie-based connections, select **Cookies** and paste your LinkedIn `li_at` cookie. If you use Sales Navigator, also add the `li_a` cookie.

## 2. Check whether the campaign is still starting

A new campaign can take up to two hours to begin. A campaign showing **Running** with zero progress can therefore be normal during this period.

## 3. Check your business hours and time zone

Automation runs only during the business hours configured for the account. The default time zone is EST. Check the profile settings and change the business hours or time zone if needed. If the campaign is outside those hours, actions resume during the next business-hours window.

## 4. Check LinkedIn invitation limits

If LinkedIn’s weekly invitation limit has been reached, sending pauses temporarily. To confirm, log in to LinkedIn and try sending a connection request manually. If LinkedIn displays **“You’ve reached your weekly invitation limit,”** wait for the limit to reset; Botdog will retry and resume when the limit is lifted. You do not need to restart the campaign.

## 5. Check campaign and contact availability

Make sure the campaign is not paused, that contacts were imported correctly, and that the queue still contains prospects. Invalid, outdated, or deactivated LinkedIn URLs can prevent actions from being taken. If multiple campaigns are active, the account’s daily action limit is split between them. Other sequence steps, such as post reactions, can also limit the number of invitations sent; review their daily limits in Settings.

## 6. Connecting multiple LinkedIn accounts

Only one LinkedIn account can be connected per Botdog account. To use multiple profiles, invite team members from the **Team** menu. Each member joins the workspace, connects their own LinkedIn account, and runs campaigns under that account. Additional seats are required when multiple campaigns need to run at the same time; separate campaigns for individual team members do not require additional seats.

## Company page campaign steps

To invite contacts to follow a company page, you must be a page admin with invite permissions, and the page must have its **Industry**, **Company size**, and **Overview** fields completed. In an existing campaign, select **Switch to advanced view** → **Add Step** → **Invite to follow a Company page**. This feature is unavailable for pages with 100,000 or more followers and only allows invitations to 1st-degree connections.
